Hi, I’m Heiko and this is my personal blog site. I’m currently studying for a BA in Middle East Studies and Archaeology. I’m also working as a licensed tour guide in Israel. Prior to becoming a tour guide, I held junior and senior sales and marketing positions in the Israeli telecommunications industry. Before that I ran a translations & copywriting office and served as an advertising representative for international newspaper and magazine publishers.
My subjects of interest include Linux and open source software (I’m a Linux user since 1997), virtualization, photography, AI, and green economy (sustainability). The most popular things I wrote are my tutorials on running Microsoft Windows or Linux in virtual machines, as well as my photography blogs.
I created this website to share some tips and insights that may be useful to others. If you find this content helpful, share it with others. You can also register if you want to be updated on the latest posts.
